            Offline-First Promise: Your pharmacy's critical data (inventory, billing, patient records) is stored locally on your device. We do not automatically upload this data to our servers unless you explicitly enable cloud backup via Firebase.
        

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign in via Login with Amazon (LWA), we collect your name, email address, and unique Amazon User ID.
Pharmacy Data: Medicine inventory, billing transactions, customer names, and prescription details (stored locally on your device).
Usage Data: We may collect anonymized analytics to improve app performance (e.g., which features are used most).

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain our pharmacy management services.
To generate AI-driven demand forecasts and stockout predictions (using encrypted, anonymized data).
To communicate with you about updates, support, and new features.
To comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax records for billing).

3. Data Storage & Security

Local Storage: All sensitive pharmacy data is encrypted (AES-256) and stored locally in a SQLite database on your device/tablet.
Cloud Sync: If you enable cloud sync, data is stored securely on Firebase Firestore. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.
Encryption: We use industry-standard AES-256 encryption and R8 obfuscation to protect your data from unauthorized access.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. Data is only shared with service providers (like Firebase and Gemini AI) strictly for functionality, and they are bound by confidentiality agreements.

5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Since the app is offline-first, you can delete your local data at any time by uninstalling the app. For cloud-stored data, you can request deletion by contacting us.

6. Children's Privacy

PharmaWatch is a B2B business tool for pharmacy professionals and is not intended for children under 13.
